We're passionate about team, and volunteers are critical to helping the charity provide it's ever growing care and support services.
Our volunteers are highly valued people with a heart for caring for others in some of their darkest hours of need. Its often not easy work, but it is some of the most rewarding - knowing you were there at just the right time to help a parent on their journey to thriving again.

How Could You Get Involved?
Volunteering with ACTS FAST isn't all about therapists or counsellors: we need a whole team of folk to provide amazing care behind the scenes.

Fundraising Volunteer
Bringing in the funds to keep us running is currently our greatest pressure. We'd like to grow our team of fundraisers so that we can keep supporting families for many years to come. We're open minded, but here;s some of the things you might like to help with:

Organising fundraising events
Networking and connecting with funders
Writing bids for grants
Contacting businesses for sponsorship
Growing our donor base
Championing and encouraging donations
Social Media Volunteer
Good on apps like Facebook and Instagram? Got an eye for making great looking visual and text posts? You might have just what we are looking for! This could become a side hustle for you, or perhaps experience for uni or professional projects. We'd love help in these sorts of areas:

Social media graphic creation
Website stories and content
Post scheduling (using tools like Later)
Office Support
Admin your dream? Love getting things organised? ...then we need you! We're looking for organised folk who can lend a few hours here and there to help us with general admin tasks. Maybe...

Safeguarding and DBS checks:
Most roles require an enhanced DBS check to be carried out and you'll go through safeguarding training as well if you go on to join us. The checks and training help keep everyone safe.
If your registered on the "DBS Update Service" we can do your check with your certificate details, but if not don't worry, we can arrange a check. Either way, we'll ask you for some more details.
